Ingredients: 

  • Flour                                                                      500 gms

  • Dry Yeast                                                               15 gms

  • Salt                                                                         2 pinches

  • Sugar grains                                                          4 tsps

  • R Oil or butter                                                         30 ml

  • Egg                                                                          1 ( optional )

  • Warm water                                                          300 ml approx

Method:-

  • Sift flour, make a well

  • Add the yeast, sugar, and egg.

  • Knead well, with little by little water.( Do not add all the water, you may or may not need it)

  • Add the Oil, and knead some more.

  • Lastly, add the salt, and make a smooth dough.

  • Cover to ferment, for 20-30 minutes.

  • Knock back the dough, release all the gases, and once again roll and leave to ferment for a second rise.

  • Now, make balls into the shape of buns, and arrange on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  • Leave to prove ( Rise )for 20 mins, and give a milk wash, with a pastry brush.

  • Sprinkle whatever you may like...herbs, sesame seeds, onion seeds, anything.

  • Bake in a 180 degrees oven for 18-20 mins.
